CO2 AI — an enterprise sustainability platform, born at BCG, now a startup driving large-scale decarbonization.

Approach

Companies struggle with Scope 3 emissions, which often account for the majority of their carbon footprint. Existing tools for carbon tracking are complex and data-heavy, making it difficult for teams to understand, simulate, and act on sustainability decisions in real time.

Delivery

I collaborated on rethinking CO2 AI’s experience to make sustainability data more intuitive, actionable, and strategic. I focused on: Designing a new AI experience that helps businesses model and interpret Scope 3 data. Designing simulations powered by AI to guide decision-making across supply chains. Redesigning navigation and product packages to simplify how users interact with differents modules of the platform. **** Due to confidentiality, the visuals in this case study use adapted marketing assets rather than final product designs.

From data overload to decision making — designing the AI experience that does the work.

A new AI experience that helps businesses interpret Scope 3 data.

The overall objective was to help clients solidify context by integrating regular updates from standards and other data sources. I designed an AI-driven experience that reduces complexity and highlights actionable insights — enabling teams to interpret emissions in context and gain live, AI-powered insights to support smarter decision-making.

Creating simulation flows for R&D, Procurement and Sustainability teams

I worked on simulation capabilities that let users model different scenarios — from material changes to supplier choices — and instantly see potential outcomes. This allows decision-makers to explore trade-offs, compare options, and move forward with greater confidence, all without leaving the platform.

Rethinking navigation and packages product structure

I streamlined the way users interact with the platform’s modules, such as CCF Measure, PCF Measure, Reduce, and Product Ecosystem. By redesigning navigation and packaging, I made it easier for enterprises to find the right tools at the right time, transforming a complex suite into a clear, cohesive experience.
